Moving in

We got the keys yesterday! Pretty exciting, it is almost surreal, a year and a half of working towards this and the day is upon us. Lots and lots to do! Cleaning.... renting a commercial space is different from renting a home or apartment in that respect. I can't complain though, we are getting the use of a lot of shelving, busts, and a great big beautiful table.

Yesterday I met Karen and Terry from Treenway Silks, they were over from Saltspring and lent me a two bags full of beautiful silks that they carry. We talked about having a silk day sometime in the later half of November to explore the various silk products and maybe learn to do some small Christmas gifts.

This last week, I spent most of my time ordering. I am pretty excited about getting harmony needles. I also ordered a tonne of books, including Intertwined! Staying within budget has been a super big challenge as there are sooo many beautiful products out there.
